Another food subscription delivery service, HomeChef, offers prepped 30-minute meals – perfect when those term papers start piling up. There is also a Fresh and Easy meal plan with ready-to-heat in-the-oven and/or in microwave meals. Home Chef also has a discount page for students here .
At the time of writing this article, I priced 5 meals of two servings each with shipping came out to $110.85, there is however a nice discount of 50% off for a few deliveries for students. So definitely could be worth checking it out.
EveryPlate
Everyplate states to be very affordable and offers 5 different meal plans and has a student discount page here. Unfortunately, I could not find any microwaveable meals from Everyplate. So if your college student just has access to a microwave this will be an issue for sure.
